Virtual Geoscience Educational Opportunities (VirtualGEO) is a research and educational initiative within the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences to promote the use of modern technology and data visualization techniques within the field of Geoscience.  This includes, but is not limited to the use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs, commonly called drones), photogrammetry, Lidar, RTK and GNSS units, Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), etc.
