Geobiology Banner2

The Geobiology group is a multi-interdisciplinary team comprised of faculty, postdoctoral researchers, and students that focus on the interface between Earth and life sciences and how life evolved,  spanning the range of all geologic time, while also seeking to understand planetary geobiology, and the possibility of life on other planets. The work investigates the dynamic boundaries between geology, biochemistry, geochemistry, microbiology, environmental biophysics and science, astrobiology, and at times bioinformatics, AI and protein design.
