NBCP thickening trends. Overlap sections of adjacent NBCP cores allow us to determine how correlative stratigraphic units change thickness with position in the basin. Units thicken toward the center of the basin (e.g., 20% from Rutgers, R, to Titusville, T) and toward the border-fault system and/or major internal faults (e.g., 5.8% from Nursery, N, to Titusville, T).
