beachmonitorBuilt in house, Virtual GEO uses a low-cost Arduino based multi-frequency Global navigation satellite system (GNSS) survey system that uses Real-time kinematic positioning (RTK).  This unit has an accuracy of  2.9 cm horizontal RMSE and a 4.4 cm vertical RMSE. The difference in position between the corrected solutions for the base-station location was 1.3 cm horizontally and 3.1 cm vertically.
