Research Interests
- My research focuses on sediment delivery and deposition in regions with strong bottom currents , producing spectacular sedimentary features. These vary in scale from centimeters to 100's of kilometers. I am using seismic images and cores collected during cruise TN1909 (southern Argentine Margin) to look at different scales of processes.
- On the left we are cutting a piston core into sections. The right panel shows a seismic line from modern drift at around 4000 m water depth.
