Research Interests

Paleomagnetism, geomagnetism, and rock magnetism, and their application to geologic problems. Current interests include Cenozoic and Mesozoic geomagnetic polarity time scales, paleogeography, paleoclimatology and the long-term carbon cycle, true polar wander, and early hominin dispersal.
