Congratulations to Jarrod Burges and Zak Jibrin, who have each been named recipients of the IMA-NJU Student Award for IMA 2026, an honor established by Nanjing University to recognize outstanding student participants at this year's International Mineralogical Association General Assembly.
IMA 2026 is the 24th General Meeting of the International Mineralogical Association, convening in Nanjing, China, August 20–24, under the theme "Mineralogy in Future." Both Jarrod and Zak will present their research at the assembly, and Zak will also serve as a session convener.
