EPS student Vidushi Dhaka has been selected to receive the Excellence in Research Award, a distinguished student research award at Rutgers. Vidushi won the award for her exceptional undergraduate research accomplishments, demonstrated through a peer‑reviewed publication in planetary science, lead authorship and presentation at a Geological Society of America meeting, significant contributions to museum specimen digitization, participation in oceanographic research, and impactful public science communication. The breadth, quality, and measurable outcomes of her interdisciplinary research, combined with her acceptance into multiple top graduate programs and commitment to advancing geology beyond Rutgers, distinctly set her apart as an outstanding scholar. Vidushi will be presented this award during the 11th Annual Chancellor's Student Leadership Award Gala.
