While interning at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum this summer, Kate learned that the Geological Society of America was interested in funding her computational research back at Rutgers. GSA will cover the cost of powerful equipment capable of running intensive programs to support her in her endeavors. Kate looks forward to using her new machine in the fall.
