Cathleen Doherty (Co-PI; EPS) and Zorimar Rivera-Nunez (Co-PI; EOHSI/SPH), along with collaborators were awarded pilot funding for their project "A mixed method approach to evaluate toxic metals exposure among agricultural, native communities in the Southern Andes." This project will work in partnership with community members to identify exposure pathways of metal contaminants in a native population living near copper mining activities.
