Mark Yu, PhD candidate, gave three department seminars at Bucknell University, Binghampton University, and Williams College for the 2023-2024 academic year. The talks revolved around findings from the Indian Ocean in understanding the intensities of the South Asian Monsoon over the last two glacial terminations. In addition to sharing his results and learning from constructive feedback, he broadened his network with early-career paleoclimatologists in the nearby area. These seminars are the various chapters of the dissertation that he will defend in the near future. |
