EPS Master's student, Parth Patel, is in Anchorage, Alaska on a 3.5 month internship with the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management. He's part of a team tasked by federal mandate to assess oil and gas potential in the Liberty Field along Alaska's North Slope. He'll return in the Fall with new skills to apply to his thesis research and an insider's view of the challenge of meeting our nation’s energy needs in ways that are both sustainable and environmentally sound.
