Peri Burton was accepted to the "University of Nebraska- Lincoln Sustainability of Civil Infrastructure REU program", being held this summer. Her project is called "Producing Clean Energy and Value-Added Products from Animal Waste" with Dr. Xu Li. Peri is an Environmental Engineering Major and was a 2020 Aresty Researcher, a 2021 Project Super Research Scholar, and currently a part-time lab assistant, all with Dr. Rick Mortlock.
