Structural Geological Studies

Structural geological studies at Rutgers are led by Roy Schlische and Martha Withjack Together they head the Extensional Tectonics Working Group evaluating rift basin history and the structural geology modeling lab.

Geophysics

Geophysics is represented in paleomagnetism by Dennis Kent, in Seismology by Vadim Levin, in Exploration Geophysics by Martha Withjack, and in Seismic data acquisition, processing, and interpretation by Greg Mountain. Kent and Mountain extensively work with the Basins group and Levin is with the VPG group.
