Our group investigates the interior structure of the Earth using waves produced within it by earthqaukes, and also the earthquakes themselves.

Key research areas are:
1. seismic structure of the crust and the upper mantle
2. directional variation (anisotropy) of seismic properties in the Earth

Most of the research projects have "regional" focus, in that we explore specific geological problems of a given region by means of imaging the interior of the Earth beneath it.

Visit our research site for a sampling of past projects and updates on the new ones.
