- Geochemical evolution of Arenal Volcano, Costa Rica
- Amount of HFSE retention in the Central American Volcanic Arc, its causes and implications
- Constraining the contribution of mantle wedge and various subducting slab components in the Central American Volcanic Arc through isotopic analyses

- 1997 to present: Teaching Assistant in the Geological Sciences Department at Rutgers University responsibilities: teach Petrology (igneous and metamorphic) lab; upkeep lab equipment (i.e. rock samples, thin sections, petrographic microscopes)
- 1997 to present: Research Assistant in the Geological Sciences Department at Rutgers University responsibilities: upkeep clean lab, upkeep ion exchange columns, run TIMS;
- 1999 to 2002: Technician at the Institute of Marine and Coastal Sciences at Rutgers University responsibilities: upkeep inorganic chemistry lab, run HR-ICP-MS, perform preparatory steps for samples run on HR-ICP-MS, maintenance of HR-ICP-MS;
- 1997, 2000: Teacher at Sylvan Learning Center, Lawrenceville NJ responsibilities: teach basic mathematics, algebra, trigonometry and geometry to children ranging from first through twelfth grade

- Mastery of a V.G. Micromass LTD, Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometer (3 years) Sr, Nd, Pb isotopic analyses on rocks and Sr isotopic analyses on forams and waters
- Mastery of a Finningan MAT Element, a High Resolution Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometer (4 years) Trace elements and REEs analyses on rocks, sediments, meteorites, pore waters, surface waters, atmospheric waters, air filters, dust, fossils, materials recovered from crash sites for National Transportation and Safety Board; Mg isotopic ratios for meteorites; Ca isotopic ratios for Osteoporosis studies
- Mastery of a Baird 2070 Inductively Coupled Plasma Emissions Spectrometer (1 year) Major element oxides and some trace elements analyses on rocks
- Familiarity with Flame AA, IR, NMR, UV-VIS, X-ray Diffraction
- Rock digestions using HF and HNO3; using lithium metaborate in a furnaceSediment digestions using ClHO4, HF and HNO3
